Easy on the budget

The Bottom Line: I'd look at other cameras before buying this one.
I'm technically challenged so I wanted an inexpensive and simple camera. This is both, but if you buy a Kodak EasyShare CX7300 you might want to invest in a battery company while you're at it. Every time I take it out I have to put in fresh batteries, which is very frustrating when it's a one-chance shot. Anyone with small kids or grandchildren knows you need a camera that's ready when they do something especially cute... and (of course) that happens a lot. You don't want to waste time looking for fresh batteries and changing them out while the moment passes.
The picture quality is fine but most of my pictures are off-center... this may be due to the slight delay after the button is pressed, or it could be me. I've done everything to steady the camera and center the picture and still a lot of them are cockeyed. Since no one else mentioned this problem I'll take responsibility for it even though it hasn't happened with other digital cameras.
The software is easy to navigate but doesn't have as many editing features as other cameras I've used and the printout options are limited.
If I had another shot (no pun intended) at it, I wouldn't buy this camera.
